Brandywine Outfitters Inc. will carry you and your family and friends out of time on a scenic canoe trip down the Brandywine River. In the morning, paddle down the river through one of the most beautiful parts of Pennsylvania, then take a break for lunch at mid-day. Close the day canoeing through Southern Chester County, and return to your starting point via Brandywine Outfitters' bus. Or spend a serene morning or afternoon canoeing the still waters of the Brandywine River. Whatever your canoeing pleasure, Brandywine Outfitters can make it a day to remember. Large groups are welcome.

Canoe Rental Season

Brandywine Outfitters' canoe rental season runs from April through September.

Canoe Rental Hours

  • We offer canoe rentals 7 DAYS A WEEK throughout the season.
  • Our rentals begin at 8:00 a.m.
  • All rentals must be on the river no later than 1:00 p.m.

Brandywine Outfitters Picnic Park

Available for rent is a beautiful 26-acre private wooded park located on the Brandywine River. Our private park is excellent for company parties, family outings, or any special occasion. Rental of the park includes the following amenities:

  • Eight hour use of our 26-acre private park
  • Patio dining area by the river
  • Attached cooking area with grills
  • Playground, volley ball, horseshoes, 1-mile nature trail
  • Exciting bike tour trails along the Brandywine River
  • Excellent fishing (PA fishing license required)
  • Beautiful camping sites (only available with 2 day rental)
  • Use of our 20' x 40' high-top tent with picnic tables
